About Nadia Rasheed

A Compassionate Counselling Approach

As Founder of Family Connection Counselling, I established this practice to provide a compassionate and reliable experience for individuals seeking mental health support.

As a counsellor, my approach is empathic and non-judgmental, highlighting the significance of the therapeutic relationship in fostering the trust and safety essential for the therapeutic process. I provide counselling services to adults over the age of 18 and offer support across all mental health areas, with a special emphasis on stress management, depression, anxiety, grief, and loss, including the effects of trauma, suicidal thoughts, and Family Domestic Violence (FDV). I also have an interest in supporting those people in life transitions, menopause, or have recently been diagnosed as adults with ADHD/ADD, and Autism.

As a counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), I maintain a Level 4 membership (member no. 12558) and adhere to the standards and guidelines of these associations to ensure a safe, client-focused experience.
